susan mactavish best
Susan MacTavish Best has worked extensively with European and North American companies providing them with strategic public relations counsel since 1995. She founded Best Public Relations in 1998 in San Francisco and has worked with an eclectic variety of clients from once-unknown startups to some of the most recognized household names.
In the nineties, Susan was the Founder and Editor of Posthoc: The Upfront Guide to San Francisco, one of the first online guides to San Francisco which was entirely volunteer-driven. Here she managed over 100 contributors and was responsible overall for the content creation, maintenance, business development, marketing and design of the site.
During off hours, Susan is often found running on Mount Tamalpais or cooking up a storm for an impromptu dinner party.
beth cook
Beth joined Best Public Relations in 2008, and works closely with the media and our clients to tell interesting, captivating stories. Prior to working with Best PR, Beth promoted best-selling authors at University of California Press and Ulysses Press in Berkeley. Beth also works part-time as a PR Associate at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In her spare time she hoards fashion magazines, exhibits conceptual artwork, enjoys red wine, and gives dating advice to anyone asking.
